INTRODUCTION
SmartPay is a financial
app that is envisioned to
thrust 180 million
Nigerians to cashless
truism.
The need for people to carry cash around
causes many unbearable challenges
such as lack of small cash denomination
to give balance, theft, and "trade frauds".
So we decided to provide a solution by
developing a digital currency with which
every transaction is done cashless.
Problem statement
 To become the leading digital
payment platform accepted by 180
million Nigerians.
Aim
• Pay/Receive payment by Scanning
QR with offline capabilities.
• Multiple ways to pay add funds to
paybag.
• Automated cashless payout.
• Simple user interface design.
Objectives
Why SmartPay
Developed for both formal and
informal transactions.
Supports offline payment.
No minimum transaction
value.
Extremely cheap to use
Super simple user interface
Competitive Advantage
 Currently, the financial technology space is
occupied by many fin apps such as
Quickteller, PayByCapture, KongaPay,
Paga, etc.
 If you bought some good worth N10,
which app would you think of to make
payment? This is a type of transaction
and many more clearly differentiates
the SmartPay app.
The Market
 Currently, we cannot ascertain the
actual population of Nigeria; but
it’s believed to be about 180
million. Concretely, while
SmartPay is envisioned for Africa
generally, we are inspired to first
serve the Nigerian people as they
carry out their transactions on
daily basis.

SmartPay “Paybags”.
2. The banks will integrate
with SmartPay to Credit
the customer while
debiting SmartPay.
SmartPay’s Transaction Fee
SmartPay will maintain the
transaction fee at 1% of
transaction amount made with
an upper bound of N10
The Bank’s Revenue
1. Customers pay the bank to add
funds to their SmartPay
“Paybags”.
2. Customers pay the bank each
time they request that their
account be credited instantly
through SmartPay “Transfer to
Bank” feature.
Conclusion
SmartPay has a vision to
be adopted by 180 million
people within the first few
years of business. This is a
statement of sustainality for
SmartPay.
