• Business are affected by changes in the technological environment.
Technological products are finished goods for use by consumers, while
technological process are means by which new products and services
are created (or) improved.
TECHNOLOGICAL FACTORS
• INTERNET.
• MOBILE DEVICE.
• WIRELESS.
• SOFTWARE.
• CLOUD COMPUTING.
• SPEED CALCULATIONS.
ADVANTAGES
• Increased reach : using information technology a marketer can reach an enormous
number of people with just the click of a button . networked technologies give
millions people instant access to eachother .
example : flipkart , amazon.
• Speed and flexibility : technology allows advertisers to respond quickly to changes in
the marketplace .
DISADVANTAGES
• Competition : what makes all these technological developments less than perfect is
that they are available to everyone .
• Homogenization : as marketers all hone in on fastest , most efficient and most
affective way of getting public attention the result is a growing deeper
homogenization in both products and the way they are promoted .
