5. Facts about visitors
 Since the beginning of 2009, 4450 persons have visited the Centre, most
frequently in May 2010 and May 2011
 The largest number of visitors was registered on 23 September 2011 when
during the Open Door Day, the Centre welcomed almost 1500 visitors
 Several persons visit the Centre repeatedly; one of them has visited the
Centre 80 times. The longest visit has lasted for 4 hours
 The Centre has a special room for visitors to meet with Saeima members
and officials (upon prior arrangement)

6. Facts about submissions
 Since the beginning of 2009, the Saeima has received 15538 personal submissions,
mostly by mail. A total of 1060 submissions have been handed in personally at the
Centre
 Most frequently the submissions have been addressed to the individual deputies and
the Saeima committees
 The most submissions received from one person on various issues was 180. One
person has called the Saeima’s hotline 65 times
 The largest number of signatures on one submission was 2279. In this submission
inhabitants of the Auces district called the deputies to solve the issue about the
availability of the public transport after closing the rail Rīga-Reņģe
 In some cases, 100 submissions have been received simultaneously, one to each
Saeima member
