VIEW FROM ELLIPTICAL COURTYARD
FRONT ELEVATION
“Unity in diversity” by name is India. India, the land of dynamic culture, tradition and national
integrity has produced stalwarts in all aspects and has set examples in various elds for the world to
see.
In this era of changing trends where people are diverting from taking up age-old professions and
opening new vistas for themselves in modern times, Students are opting for courses like mass
communication, journalism, hotel management etc.
Hotel management as the word goes , is a course that paves way for a coveted managerial
positions in the hotel industry. Kitchen, being the heart of any hotel and responsible for serving good
and palatable food is being neglected by using the services of mostly untrained local workers.
There is a section of the modern students community who show keen interest in developing and
learning culinary arts.Think India, think food!!! And a thousand colours, aromas and textures appear
to be at war to win your taste buds. As many as there are states and languages, there are
a multitude of culinary styles to choose from, but, no platform to showcase and
impart training in the art of Indian cooking and its complex age old techniques.
Hence, the idea of a culinary school.
