4. In 1936 Spain was affected by a civil war that lasted three years. First it was a political and social conflict, but later it would become in an economic conflict.

5. As a consequence, too many Spanish were forced to migrate to other countries. And my grandfather was not the exception. The main countries of destination were Argentina, France and Mexico.

6. He decided to come to Argentina with his wife and kids, hoping to find better conditions to live and support his family.

7. They arrived at Corrientes on August 15, 1937
