Your title is the number one area eBay
examines initially. It’s “prime real estate” on
your listings and you want to make sure it has
been optimized for the right search terms

Subtitles have been around on eBay almost
since the very beginning, providing a way to
help your listing stand amongst the crowd. In
tests, adding a subtitle to an existing listing
showedanincrease inpageviewsof26%.

Use the Right Product Identifiers
Product identifiers are unique codes, usually shown
as a barcode and number, which identify a specific
productandhelpdistinguishitfromother products.
For many categories, product identifiers are now
mandatory and are linked to the eBay catalog, so
when you’re creating a listing you just need to enter
the code and all the other information will be filled in
for you.

Have A Detailed Description
The importance of the description does depend on
the specific product and category, but in many
cases buyers still look at the description to make
aninformed decisionabouttheirpurchase.
So make the description clear and easy to read,
including information about materials, sizing and
technicalspecifications.
