4. Organization Overview: Habitat for Humanity of
Greater Memphis
Founded in 1976
Non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry
dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in the city of
Memphis and surrounding areas, and to making decent
housing for all people a matter of conscience and action.
In order to evaluate the program, Habitat has implemented
the Success Measures Data Management System, a tool
used so that the Habitat projects can be analyzed for
effectiveness and long-term sustainability

organizations, including but not limited to, non-
profit ethics, professionalism, use of social science
research methods, and presentation (both written
and visual) in order to measure impact and inform
