9. In some countries in our project, poverty was
not viewed as a big problem.
Instead, learning to live in a multi-cultural
society was the new challenge. People are
currently struggling with the meaning of
“United in our Diversity.”
10. Other students in the project felt that
hearing the voice of youth was a major
equity issue for society.
11. We have learned through this project that equity and diversity is
a complex issue, with many different factors.
In order for EQUITY to not create up-side down and backwards
opinions, views and prejudices, we must value all peoples, all
beliefs, all cultures and Mother Earth herself.
We are the generation that has the power, technology and
mindset to define the true meaning of …
