So let us now to go to the
installation process of Time Doctor

I will be using Windows 8 and
Google Chrome for the installation

Go to google.com

Type in time doctor

Hit Enter

The webpage will open

Click on Test it myself

Click on continue

This will appear

Type in your preferred name

Type in your email

Type in your desired password

Green arrows means that the name,
email and password you typed in can
be used for the sign up process

Click on Test it Out

This page will load after

Download of the software will
automatically commence

You can click here if the download
does not start

The download is now finished

Click on the drop down button

Click on Open

Installation process will start

Click on Next

Installation is now ongoing

This will appear after installation of
the software

Time Doctor is now installed

Type in the email address you used for
the sign up here

Type in the password you used for the
sign up here

You can click the tick box to uncheck
“remember my password” and “Sign in
automatically”

Click on Sign in

The software will commence signing in
process

You are now signed in

The web page will show this to inform
you that the software is installed and
you have made an account already

You can now also Sign in using your
account at the Time Doctor website

Enter your email and password

Then press Sign in

This is your account page or your dash
board

Click on Skip this step

Options will appear

Click here to turn off screen shots
which are taken every few minutes at
random interval

Click here to disable manual time

Click here to disable “Are you still
working” pop up setting

Pop up settings can be adjusted here

Period of inactivity for the set
minutes will activate the pop up to
remind you to work

Click on Save Settings

To sign out from your account page
hover mouse here

Then click on Sign out

Now let us go back to the software

Upon starting the software it will
prompt you to do the tutorial you
can skip it by clicking on Skip
Tutorial found on the left side
corner of the application window

Click here

Now let us try to add a new task

This will show the total time you
worked today

These buttons will let you shift tasks
between Time Doctor Tasks and last 15
tasks

Click on them to shift between
Time Doctor Tasks and last 15 tasks

Click here to add what you are
currently working on

I typed in “First Task”

Click on Go

These timers will appear

This timer where the red arrow are
pointing at denote the total working
time for the day

This timer will tell you the elapsed
time after you clicked Go which means
that you are currently at work mode

It also tells the total working time
for the “First Task”

To take a break from work click here

Or you can click on the pause button
here

It will show here that you are on a
break

The timers where the two arrows are
pointing at denote the elapsed time
after you clicked on break

To resume work click on Go again

Or you can click on the play button
here

The timer for the “First Task” resumed from the last
time it was paused

To view the time statistics quickly
hover your mouse here

It will show you the total time you
worked for the day, this week, this
month and your total break time
for the day

Now we will try to end the First
Task

Click on Finish Work

This will appear

You can see here the total time you
worked for today and You can type
again a new task

Now let us try to a second task

Click on Go again

You can see here the timer reset itself

To clear a completed task click here

The tick box will be checked

Then click on Clear completed

Now the “First Task” is deleted from
the list of tasks

Now to monitor our progress, the
time we spent working and our
break times and other information
we can access our dashboard

To do that click here

It will show you the dashboard
information and the task you are
currently working on

It will also show you the time you
spent working for the day.

This dashboard will update itself as
long as your are using Time Doctor
application

You can also check the time per week
basis by clicking here

To check other information like graphs
and websites you have visited click
here

It will show you this page

Lastly if you are the owner of the company and
want to supervise the actions of your team you can
add them to your dashboard by typing their Time
Doctor email address here

Then click on invite

Upon accepting the invite they should
be now visible in your dashboard like
this
