This course includes a
survey of recent language
theories and practices in
college English teaching with
practicum.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. EXPLAIN about content-based approaches to college English
teaching;
2. CONNECT the application of content-based instruction
to academic;
3. APPLY the strategies for the negotiation of meaning in the
classroom;
4. EVALUATE interaction and communication skills that are
culturally appropriate with local ethic groups;
5. PLAN classroom strategies for collaboration between content-
based instruction and other instructional approaches; and
6. DEMONSTRATE alternative models and relationship between
content-based instruction and other instructional approaches.
