solution specialist by the year 2020.
MISSION
To deliver world class Engineering Asset Management solutions utilizing proven strategies,
methodologies, and architectures; through the partnering of our creative human enterprise and
industry leading enterprise applications.
ENGINEERING ASSET MANAGEMENT
EAM scope covers every stage in the life cycle of engineering systems - plant, machinery,
equipment, and facilities - from specification, acquisition, planning, operation, performance
evaluation, improvement, replacement, to disposal.
EAM prescribes the business, technical, administrative, and managerial actions required to
retain an asset in, or restore it to, a state in which it can perform its required function; all within
its operating context and economical aspects.
Who we are
vision |ˈvi zh ən| noun
• the faculty or state of being able to see.
• the ability to think about or plan the future
with imagination or wisdom.
3. STRATEGY
ΤΓΣΛΜ utilizes an approach encapsulating the four strategic dimensions of asset management:
• Service Delivery - balance between in-house capability and outsourced service.
• Organization - organizational design and structuring of work.
• Maintenance Methodology - the selection of policies and tools.
• Support Infrastructure - performance management, training, and technology.
PROCESS
We model Engineering Asset Management as a transformation process enfold in an Enterprise
System (ES). The configuration of the ES is determined from a strategic perspective, that is, it is
business process based. The degree of optimization is based on an organizationʼs maturity.
Therefore transformation takes place in moving a business enterprise along the continuum from
reactive enterprises to autonomous organizations.
DATA
The two factors that permeate the strategic dimensions are human factors and information flow.
The seamless flow of information is an enabler of exemplary performance. Enterprise Systems
are utilized to integrate the information flows.
INTELLIGENCE
Strategy is translated into tangible items captured by objectives, performance measures, targets,
and action plans. A Balanced Score Card is used to provide a holistic assessment of
performance around four perspectives: Financial Performance; Customer Satisfaction;
Operational Effectiveness; and People Development.

6. Optimizing Operations
Emerging trends of “lean manufacturing”, “just in time production”, and
“six-sigma programs emphasize quick response, elimination of waste,
and defect prevention. Installing the right equipment and facilities,
optimizing the maintenance of these assets, and effective deployment of
manpower to perform the asset management activities are crucial factors
to support operations strategies.
Health, Safety, and Environment
Catastrophic failures of plant and machinery are the major cause of
industrial accidents and health hazards. Keeping facilities in optimal
conditions and preventing failures are an effective means to meet the
ever more demanding societal challenge of pollution control and accident
prevention. Preserving performance and safety functions are core
deliverables of engineering asset management.
Competitive Advantage
Asset Management strategy enhances the competitive advantage of a
company based on its support to the manufacturing, engineering, and
material purchase functions. The emergence of Enterprise Systems -
software packages with fully integrated modules for the major processes
in the organization - offers the promise to capture synergies with
logistics, inventory, and procurement.
