3. Jobs attended Cupertino Junior High School
and Homestead High School in Cupertino,
Calif. In 1972, Jobs graduated from high
school and enrolled in Reed College in
Portland, Ore. Although he dropped out after
only one semester he continued attending
classes at Reed, such as one in calligraphy,
while sleeping on the floor in friends' rooms,
returning Coke bottles for food money, and
getting weekly free meals at the local Hare
Krishna temple.
4. Steve Jobs was born on the 24th of February 1955 in San Francisco,
California and one week later he was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. Paul
and Clara called him Steven. Steve never new his biological sister until
adulthood. After Steve graduation from college in 1972, he started to
attend meetings held by the Homebrew Computer Club with Steve
Wozniak, and soon got a job in the computing field at Atari, a video game
maker On April 1^st 1976 Jobs and Wozniak founded Apple Computer
Company and ended up creating a batch of completely assembled
computers. This computer was called the Apple I. In May 1980 the Apple
III. 1984 Macintosh. 1985 Jobs fired board of directors. In 1996 Apple
bought Next for $402 million and bring Jobs back to Apple.
5. Jobs married Laurene Powell on March 18th 1991 and has
had three children with her. He also has a daughter with
Chrisann Brennan but was never marry to her. In 1982 he
bought an apartment in The San Remo and spent years
renovating it before selling it 20 years later without ever living
in it. Jobs second major housing purchase was in 1984 when
he bought a 17,000 square foot, 14 room Spanish Colonial
mansion known as Jackling House. 10 years later he decided
to demolish the house and build a smaller house on the
property but meet with complaints from local preservationists
who began legal action to prevent the demolition, presently the
house still stands. In 2004 Jobs was diagnosed with a
cancerous tumor in his pancreas which was successfully
removed.
