Roto Frank of America, Inc. was founded in Chester, Connecticut in 1979 as a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Roto AG, a worldwide active company headquartered in Germany, with 13
production plants and 40 subsidiaries globally.
After gaining experience and recognition in
the building industry, the company began
manufacturing roof windows and distributing
Tilt&Turn hardware. Realizing the great
potential that existed in the window and door
hardware market, Roto Hardware Systems was
established and started developing its own line
of North American specific products.
Roto Frank of America has been an integral
part of Connecticut’s manufacturing industry for 36 years. Roto Frank of America offers
solutions for North American and European hardware applications, has an extensive product
line including its renowned X-DRIVE™ casement and awning window systems, sash locks,
window-opening-control-devices, sliding patio door systems, and European window and door
hardware, among others.
Our Chester, CT based team encompasses the functions of customer service, accounting,
sales, marketing, IT, research and development, product management, quality control,
applications engineering, and manufacturing. Together, we work with our global supply chain
partners to provide unparalleled product quality and world-class customer service. We have
successfully incorporated state-of-the-art laser technology into our production processes,
