Annual Certification Renewal
• Renewal materials were sent to current and
incoming DGs and Youth Exchange chairs in
early May – due date was 1 June
• Ensures consistency across turnover in
district leadership
• Confirms correct district chair appointments

Recertification
• Recertification materials were also sent to
approximately 70 groups of current and
incoming DGs and Youth Exchange chairs in
May 2017
• Almost all districts have successfully completed
recertification!
• Successes:
– Reduction of alternatives of criminal
background checks
– Improvement in documentation

17. Program Evaluations
•Staff continue to perform 4-5 onsite
program evaluations each year
•Over 30 evaluations performed in
27 countries
•Ensures compliance with certification
requirements and shares best
practices

18. Required Reporting to RI
• Any serious student incident reported to RI
within 72 hours
– Includes early returns
• Annual inbound student data
– All types of exchanges
– Any convenient format: scans of Guarantee
Forms, spreadsheets, etc.
– Before or shortly after the exchange begins
• Annual survey

– Share their story on the Rotary Voices blog
• Encourage non-Rotarian host parents and volunteers to:
