Challenges views towards a woman who was in a
patriarchal role, showing her in a position of
authority.
Creates a modern interpretation on the institution
of marriage.
Shows how powers were divided equally between
Victoria and Albert without creating further gender
conflicts.
And, shows shifting views towards equal
parenthood.
