INTRODUCTI
ON
• An Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) is a device
that extracts water from humid ambient air. Water
vapour in the air is condensed by cooling the air
below its dew point. Unlike a dehumidifier an AWG is
designed to render the water potable. AWGs are
useful where pure drinking water is difficult or
impossible to obtain, because there is almost always
a small amount of water in the air that can be
extracted. The two primary techniques in use are
cooling and desiccants.
WHAT IS DEHUMIDIFIER ?
• A dehumidifier is generally a household
appliance which reduces the level of humidity in the
air, usually for health or comfort reasons, or to
eliminate musty odour. Large dehumidifiers are also
used in commercial buildings such as indoor ice
rinks to control the humidity level.
WORKI
NG
 The AWG get water from air depends on air humidity and
temperature. The best condition is when the humidity at least
over 70%.
The unit can be used as not only AWG but the dehumidifier in
areas with comparatively high humidity which guarantee the
users fitness and longer service life for other household
appliances
Adopt the multiple air filtering technology for high quality
which also could wipe off hydrogen and nitrogen.

entrance into the commercial market is mainly to
offer a solution to the worsening global water
crisis.
• May be in next 5 to 10 years Atmospheric Water
Generators can be used instead of water purifiers.
CONCLUSION
oDespite widespread water pollution and shortages
of drinking water, there is an abundance of water
around us form the air that we breathe it doesn’t
matter where you are even in desert.
oWater harvesting and treatment technologies
that are solar or wind powered is the most
environmentally friendly way to extract pure
quality water from the air or sea at a low cost
