From my first brush with PR, I knew it was the career for me. What's not to love about combining some of my favorite things - writing, working with people, planning & storytelling - into a career. My journey in PR began with a part-time job at a small, locally-owned restaurant while I was in high school. I volunteered to plan small parties and design flyers for the restaurant's events, eventually becoming responsible for community outreach, entertainment scheduling, party & event planning & publicity for the restaurant.
