RE: Robin Frome
To Whom It May Concern,
It is with much enthusiasm that I write this letter of reference for Robin Frome in his
pursuit of a theatre faculty position. I have known Mr. Frome for approximately six
years. In those six years I have watched him interact with colleagues, observed his fine
directing skills and worked with him as an actor, co-director and as a fellow president of
a successful local community theatre.
Working with Mr. Frome, on several productions, as both and actor and co-director,
throughout the entire production process he was very open to new ideas, was very easy to
engage in discussions concerning production aspects, and he was an excellent and active
listener. Consequently the production was executed with perfection on many levels. The
actors he worked with displayed depth of knowledge concerning the period and insightful
confidence about portraying their character, which is a credit to Mr. Frome and the
demands he places on his actors. He developed a strong rapport with his staff and actors
that established a sense of ownership and trust with all involved creating masterful
productions filled with reality and detail.
In conclusion, I strongly feel that Robin Frome has much to offer. He is well equipped to
instruct performance courses with intelligence and understanding. As a professional
educator in the State of Connecticut as well as President of TheatreWorks New Milford, I
believe he is a creative director who works diligently and effectively with his fellow
collaborators. He truly cares about the students he teaches and will go the extra mile to
ensure they receive a high quality education. I strongly recommend Robin Frome and
urge potential employers to seriously consider his credentials.
Sincerely,
