M E M B E R S H I P D U ES
PROFESSIONAL or ACADEMIC MEMBERSHIP:
Practitioners in the marketing industry or Educators receive a
subscription to Marketing News and one additional publication of
your choice. You participate in all local SIGs and other events at $295*
reduced rates and may contribute as a volunteer leader. You also have
professional chapter voting rights.
COLLEGIATE MEMBERSHIP:
Full-time students who are not employed full time can qualify for a $52
collegiate membership. They enjoy DFW AMA benefits except chapter
voting rights.
YOUNG PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP:
After graduation, Collegiate Members may join as a Young $150
Professional Member at a reduced annual dues rate for up to three
years with full chapter benefits.
DOCTORAL STUDENT MEMBERSHIP:
Doctoral students may join the National Doctoral Student SIG and $110
receive chapter benefits excluding chapter voting rights.
GROUP MEMBERSHIP:
Individuals from the same organization (regardless of location in the $200
USA) can submit for a Group Membership and save up to $95 a year

To be the premier marketing community delivering excellent practices
and resources to develop professionals and grow organizations.
The chapter was established in 1956 as part of
the American Marketing Association, the largest
organization of professional marketers which was
founded in 1937.
There are over 600 members in the DFW chapter of
the AMA and more than 2500 event registrations by
both members and non-members each year.
Of the 70+ chapters of the American Marketing
Association, the DFW AMA continues to win awards
each year and is known as a leader among the
AMA chapters.
We average more than 50 events each year that are
tailored to meet the needs of marketers from
all specialties.
More than 100 people contribute as volunteers to
the chapter.
The DFW AMA has forged productive partnerships with
more than 20 community organizations and non-profits,
including six local colleges/universities, and strategic
partnerships to offer our members valuable discounts.
