Target Distribution Center – Albany, Oregon 1997-2000
Facility Operations Supervisor
Oversee all maintenance, preventative maintenance and inspections of all forklifts, utilities,
conveyor systems, buildings and grounds for a 600,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center. Supervise

budget and on schedule.
 Directed a 30000 sq. ft. in-house construction project ahead of schedule and under
budget
 Worked cooperatively on a project to convert chlorinated vapor degreasers to
environmentally safe cleaning alternatives saving $328,600 per year.
 Directed restroom remodeling project in a 162,000 sq. ft. building, 11 restrooms
completely refurbished at a cost of $147,678.
 Developed training programs for front-line associates emphasizing teamwork,
service commitment, safety and motivation to achieve project and long-term goals.
 Revamped a safety program for hazardous chemical use and disposal. Evaluated
and trained staff with an excellent safety performance record.
 Instituted a recycling program with saved $12,000 over 4 years.
 Directed shutdown and relocation of Olin’s 90,000 sq. ft. Research and Development
