I developed the basis of cognitive principle therapy prior to study counselling. It was used to change the negative culture of a retail group which operated six stores in Melbourne. I was a part owner and finance director of the business and I took over the group as chief executive in 2003 until 2005, to test the theory. During 2004-5 I completed an advanced diploma in counselling and family therapy.
