Waterfalls
Tavoro Waterfalls is a beautiful
hike with 3 trails of increasing
difficulty taking you up into the
hills above the village of Korovou
and past the awe inspiring
waterfalls of the Tavoro River.
The trail starts out with a 10
minute walk to the first and most
famous waterfall of Fiji, and then
continues up a series of
switchbacks past gorgeous views to
the 2nd
& 3rd falls.
Along the way you will see and hear
many of the sights and sounds of
the Taveuni Forest which can be
heard nowhere else in Fiji. Cool off

Experience the wild and scenic
coastline at Lavena. The walk is
flat most of the way so everyone

• Waitabu—enjoy a guided snorkel tour in one
of Fiji’s first MPAs or Marine Protected
Areas. See the exciting and diverse marine
life that live within one of the most beautiful
areas of Fiji. This is an activity anyone who
can swim and snorkel will enjoy. Equipment is
provided. Tea and refreshments will be served.
• Bouma / Tavoro Waterfalls— A 10
minute walk on level ground to the first and
most famous waterfall of all Fiji. Cool off with
a swim in the pool beneath the waterfall. This
is a trip that anyone at any level of physical
fitness will enjoy.
• For your safety, Waitabu Maine Park is
dependent on weather and tidal conditions,
thus departure times from Matei vary. Please
confirm with the reservation desk
• Travel Time: This trip is based on tides.
The van will leave approximately 8am and
return at about 5pm
