I am the Applications technical team lead with the Swift@IBM Engineering group. My current focus is to build new tools, frameworks, and platforms so that developers choose Swift as their favorite programming language for developing server-side applications. I have written over 24 papers (with 126 citations) in the areas of Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Virtual Reality and have taught computer science courses at the University of Texas at Austin and the College of William and Mary,
