Personal Statement
I am a Design & Project Mgr with in excess of 20 years experience and very successful track record in “High End” retail and
commercial fit out & refurbishment projects across UK, EU & North America, often simultaneously. I have worked Client Side
and as PM for Main Contractors alike, putting me in the enviable position of delivering projects from “both sides”.
Typically having key design & production input, usually involved from conception through to finalised in depth detailed designs
& plans ensuring end products are delivered in the most visually and financially effective manner. Usually taking the lead role as
chief liaison officer between stake holders and Main Contractors.
I am extremely analytical in thought and implementation of work processes ensuring designs, Quality Assurance and budgets are
fully adhered, while being able to provide immediate and decisive decisions ensuring projects are completed within agreed time
scales to a previously agreed quality standard and within budget.
Three of my designs / projects have won “Best fit out / refurbishment package” in Europe’s highest award ceremony held in Park
Lane, London. A fourth has just won a National reception design of the year award.
In addition to retail environments, I have been privileged to work for numerous senior members of the Royal Family & VIP’s, this
will give you an indication to the standard of quality I expect and deliver on projects I am involved with. Having this level of
experience, I am very comfortable in communicating confidently and effectively at all levels from unskilled trades through to the
most “determined” stake holder.
