Soccer can be found in almost all places and timelines of the world. The
Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Ancient Greek, Persian, Viking, and lots more
played ball games long before modern soccer. The Chinese played games
that date as far back as 3000 years ago. The Ancient Greeks and the
Roman kicking games to make warriors ready for battle. In south America
there is a game called "Tlatchi“ that used to be one of the biggest sports in
that time. Modern soccer actually started in England, it started in 1863 in
England, when two soccer association went into different directions.

The world cup is a world event where

compete for a spot in the world cup.
The world cup starts with 32 teams
then they have knockout games. Last
year in 2010 Spain won the world
cup. The final game was against
Netherlands and Spain won 1-0
winning their first world cup.
Sometimes the world cup doesn’t
take place like in 1942 and 1946 the
world cup did not take place because
of the world war.
