Someone who coordinate and oversees the work of other people so organizational goals can be
accomplished.
MANAGERIAL LEVEL:
MANAGER WORK IN ORGANIZATION:
Organization is a deliberate arrangement of people to accomplish some specific purpose.
Organization have three common characteristics;
MANAGERS ARE IMPORTANT:
The first reason is that organization need their managerial skills and abilities more than ever in
uncertain ,complex and chaotic times.
The second reason is that they critical to getting thing done.
MANAGERS JOB:
MANAGEMENT:
Management involves ensuring that work activities are completed efficiently and effectively by
the people responsible for doing them.
2. FUNCTON OF MANAGEMENT:
MANAGEMENT SKILLS:
Robert L.katz proposed that managers need three critical skills in managing:
Technical , human and conceptual.
MANAGERS JOB CHANGING:
Managers want to focus on six of these changes;customers, technology , social media
,innovation, sustainability and the employee.
THE VALUE OF STUDING MANAGEMENT:
Following are the three reasons of studing management;
1.Managers are needed in all types and sizes of organization.
