3. • Upon first opening the
app, this is the screen
you will see.
• Do not click “NEXT”.
Click the link that says
“these instructions.”

4. • Select the email
address of the account
with which you want
to access the Google
Drive document.

5. • This is the next screen you
will see. It is a Google Doc
that will explain the next
few steps.
• You can click the link here
to view or print these
instructions for your
convenience.

6. • The next thing you need
to do is “Create a folder
named SP Templates.”
• The following
screenshots will show
you how.

7. • Do not close the
Google Doc. But simply
navigate back to your
phone’s home screen.
• And then find the
folder that contains
your phone’s file
manager. On my phone
it is located here.

8. • On my phone, clicking
on the folder reveals
another two folders.
• The first one is my
phone’s file manager.

9. • Clicking on the file
manager, reveals a
number of directories.
• If you want to put your
templates on your SD
card, click on that option.
My phone does not have
one inserted. So I will
click on “Internal
storage.”

10. • Once inside the
appropriate directory,
you need to create a
new folder.
• On my phone, I do this
by clicking the 3-dot
menu icon in the top
right of the screen.

11. • Then select the option
that lets you create a
new folder.

12. • Name the new folder
“SP Templates” and
then create the folder.

13. • You should now see
the new folder named
“SP Templates” in the
directory.
• After this is complete,
navigate back to the
Google Doc.

14. • Once back at the
Google Doc, scroll
down to the Step 2
instructions.
• Click on the link that
says “Story Templates
Folder.”

15. • Currently, there are
templates in three
languages.
• For our purposes in
these instructions,
click on the folder with
English templates.

16. • On your phone you
should see a list of
templates like this in
numerical order.

17. • Long-press on one
template. This will select
that template and allow
you to select more
templates at the same time
by simply clicking on them.
• For our purposes, select a
few. (You can select more
than what is visible on the
screen by scrolling.)

18. • With those templates
selected, click on the
3-dot menu icon in the
top right of the screen.

19. • You will see a menu of
options. Click the
option that says
“Download.”

20. • After you have chosen
to download the
templates, navigate
back to your phone’s
file manager.
• Click on the
“Downloads” directory.

downloaded templates
you chose in this
directory.

22. • Long-press one
downloaded template
and then select the
others.
• You will now see an
option to move the
selected downloads to
another folder. Select
that option.

23. • Your phone should
now say that it is ready
to move a number of
selected items. In my
case, this is “5 items.”
• Navigate back to the
file manager.

24. • Navigate to the
directory where you
created the “SP
Templates” folder.
• On my phone it is in
the “Internal storage”
directory.

25. • Find the “SP
Templates” folder and
select it.

Templates” folder, you
can select the option
“Move here” to move
the downloaded
templates to this
folder.

folder populated by
the downloaded
templates.
