Eddie Obeng gave a presentation at TED where he used humor and storytelling to engage the audience and help explain his points. He was well prepared and maintained the audience's attention through his enthusiastic delivery and use of funny stories. The presentation flowed smoothly from one thought to the next without pauses. The audience could tell Obeng was well prepared and they were engaged by his high energy.

5. TED Commandment
The 4th Commandment “Thou Shalt Tell a
Story,” was followed best throughout this
presentation. Eddie Obeng used many
funny stories to help him get his points
across while keeping the audience
interested.
6. Dynamism
4/5
I believe Eddie Obeng
was very prepared.
He used his body
movement very well
and had nice changes
in his tone when he
was emphasizing
certain point.
The only downfall, in
my opinion, was at
times he would talk a
little too fast.
10. Naturalness
Mr. Obeng’s whole presentation just
flowed. There were no pauses in
between thoughts. Each thought
went smoothly into the next.
11. What I Learned??
I learned to be prepared, maintain eye
contact with the audience, and show
enthusiasm. The audience could tell he
was well prepared and they fed off of his
high energy.
12. Compare/Contrast
• Grabbed the audience’s • Also used humor and
attention using storytelling storytelling to grab the
and humor audience’s attention
• Used different visual aids • Only 1 total visual aid for both
during presentation video (Used in the ‘Changing
Education Paradigms” speech.
13. Tips
Make sure you are well prepared before presenting.
You want the audience to believe that you are a
credible speaker. Keep eye contact and show
excitement. If you’re using a visual aid, keep it simple.
Remember, less is more.
