I have been active in amateur theatre for over 20 years, acting in a variety of productions
including pantomimes, musicals, straight plays, concerts and cabaret. I also perform at
murder mystery events, and work as a Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates Of The Caribbean)
and Rene Artois ('Allo 'Allo) look-alike. As well as acting, I have taken on other
responsibilities in local theatre, including director, stage manager, lighting designer,
sound designer and make up designer. I have also spent several years as a committee
member of theatre societies.
Away from the stage, I have a keen interest in television science-fiction, and spend a lot
of time researching the history of British television, especially the period from the 1950s
to the mid-1980s.
