to the Electrical & Software Engineering department, to address a 2 year backlog of customer issues, and to define

Led a Sponsored R&D Project to develop a computer controlled, multi channel, hardware-in-the-loop, radar simulator,
operating in the 2-18Ghz region, for a European NATO contractor. The system included a four-horn array, a specially
designed chamber, and computer control to generate a real-time simulation for hardware-in-the-loop testing of
radiating, anti-ship missiles and associated clutter and multipath signals.
IVEX Corporation – Atlanta, GA 1986
Design Engineer / Systems Engineer
Developed equipment for flight simulator/training systems to interface a videodisc player to a high resolution,
interactive, real-time, graphics generation and display device. Developed system specifications and designed
circuitry that synchronized and transmitted high-speed clock and data signals to all system components, detected and
compensated for RF drop-out from the disk player, and provided spatial filtering and coordinate transformations on
the disc data.
Generated system standards (interface, communications, etc.) and designed generic system circuitry.
Wrote a successful Sponsored R&D proposal.
