maintenance related problems.
• Supervise plant maintenance engineers and ensure that they are trained, equipped, and motivated.
• Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance data such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM
compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
• Ensure city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are met at all
times.
• Direct, maintain, and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department and the plant; review
safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance engineers. ALL
ACCIDENTS ARE PREVENTABLE.
Manage the plant LOTO, machine guarding, electrical safety, hot work, confined space, and other
safety programs.
