RESEARCH
• Research shows most of the target audience is between the ages of 15-18 and
shows that the target audience gender is almost 50/50 male & female which shows
that the target audience are young adults, which means the advertisement will have
to be made to appeal to them

RESEARCHING AND ANALYSING EXISTING
PRINT ADVERTS/PODCASTS/TV ADVERTS?
• Existing adverts use different techniques to have an effect such as camera angles, TV
adverts are often more effective than print adverts or radio adverts as it allows
whoever is planning/making the advert more creativity in how it makes that effect,
print adverts are limited to what can be fit on a page and radio adverts aren’t able
to use visuals to help bring their point across, using these existing TV adverts will
help make my TV advert better as I can use the same techniques to make my advert
more professional
HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR CAMPAIGN IDEA IS
RIGHT FOR THE CLIENT AND THEIR NEEDS?
• The campaign idea is right for the client as its to do with smiling and its effects on
mental health, it fits the clients need as the client has ask for a TV advertisement to
be made, it will also bring attention to mental health and how smiling is good for
mental health.
HOW WILL IT APPEAL AND ATTRACT THE
RIGHT AUDIENCE/TARGET AUDIENCE?
• The advertisement will be made with the research in mind to appeal the the right
audience, using the research to attract the correct target audience by making the
advertisement more tailored to the target age groups as the target audience is
between 15-18, the ad will also be quick and to the point as to not the attention of
the audience
ADVERTISEMENT & FEEDBACK
ADVERT IDEA
• The advertisement itself will feature shots of people answering questions such as ‘what makes you smile’ for
example and other similar questions before explaining the mental health benefits of smiling as well as the health
benefits to smiling and ways to help reduce stress and smile more, also mentioning in the advertisement what stress
and not smiling enough can be unhealthy for you and your mental health and how it effects the people around you.
• The advertisement will be two friends talking about a third friend’s mental health, and how they can help that
friend’s mental health by doing things for them that makes them smile for example visiting them or calling them,
maybe giving them a gift or including them in some sort of social activity.
• this will highlight how to help people with mental health issues and what can be done to help that person or help
them smile to improve their mental health and help them to destress.

HOW WILL IT APPEAL AND ATTRACT THE RIGHT AUDIENCE/TARGET AUDIENCE? • The advertisement will be made with the research in mind to appeal the the right audience, using the research to attract the correct target audience by making the advertisement more tailored to the target age groups as the target audience is between 15-18, the ad will also be quick and to the point as to not the attention of the audience

ADVERT IDEA • The advertisement itself will feature shots of people answering questions such as ‘what makes you smile’ for example and other similar questions before explaining the mental health benefits of smiling as well as the health benefits to smiling and ways to help reduce stress and smile more, also mentioning in the advertisement what stress and not smiling enough can be unhealthy for you and your mental health and how it effects the people around you. • The advertisement will be two friends talking about a third friend’s mental health, and how they can help that friend’s mental health by doing things for them that makes them smile for example visiting them or calling them, maybe giving them a gift or including them in some sort of social activity. • this will highlight how to help people with mental health issues and what can be done to help that person or help them smile to improve their mental health and help them to destress.
