Recruitment is the process of attracting and
encouraging potential employees to apply for a position,
while selection is the process of making fair and relevant
assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of
applicants to hire them.
Since the use of social media is largely increasing.
Social media could be a powerful tool to advertise a job
and create a competitive advantage to reach a greater
pool of potential candidates. With the beginning of social
media era, communication has become extremely
convenient and effective.” What is social media? Social
media is any digital tool that allows users to quickly
create and share content with the public.” There is wide
range of websites and app. Some like LinkedIn,
Medium.com, facebook Etc.

Stay active: Staying active in the group and posting relevant content will allow you to
continually post job openings and market the positions to many members.
Direct message to reach Candidate: InMail is a great LinkedIn feature that allows
you to reach out to candidates you are not connected to. According to LinkedIn’s
research, the average response rate to LinkedIn InMail is 85%. And this is 3 times
higher than a traditional email’s response rate. Hence, if you’re hiring, using this feature
will ensure that you do not miss out on great talent.
Use an ATS to post jobs and screen candidates: You can use an ATS
(applicant tracking system) that has a LinkedIn partnership for a better Use experience.
ATS, i.e., talent acquisition software helps you streamline the recruitment process by
allowing you to post job openings on LinkedIn for free as well as on other job boards
directly. it helps you to create a talent pool online.
