DURING 1990-2000

2. January 1, 1990 Internet is born
The world wide web, Internet Protocol
(http) and WWW language (HTML)
are created by Tin Berners- Lee.

3. April 24,1990 HUBBLE TELESCOPE
 Hubble Telescope is invented. Since its
launched in 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope
(HST) has provided a dazzling array of images
that have awed and inspired the public.

4. August 11,1991 ANSWERING MACHINE
The Digital Answering Machine is invented. It is a
device that used for answering and recording a
caller’s message in the event that no one is
available to answer the phone in the person

5. July 18,1992 Smart Pill
 The name of Smart Pill now refers to any pill that
can deliver or control its delivery of medicine
without the patient having to take action beyond
the initial swallow.
 The phrase Smart Pill became popular after the
computer controlled medical device was patented
by Jerome Schentag and David D’Andrea and
named one of the top inventions of 1992 by
popular science magazine.

6. March 1,1993 Pentium Processor
 The Pentium Processor is invented. Pentium is a class
of a consumer products which is above atoms and
Celeron but below I series processors. The names was
coined first in Intel's fifth gen cpus 5th-pent and ium
was added to it which was inspired from chemical
elements.

7. February 1,1994 Yahoo
 Yahoo is founded. Is a technology company
that is known for its web service and
applications. Founders are David Filo and
Jerry Yang. Yahoo is the largest start up,
which means that they move fast and always
let their users lead the way.

8. February 26,1994 Playstation
 Sony Introduces its playstation video game
console. It is a video game console developed
by Sony. The first Playstation was released in
1994, followed by Playstation 2(PS2) in 2000
and Playstation 3 (PS3) in 2006.

9. January 25,1995 Java
 The Java Computer language
is invented. It is a general-
purpose computer-
programming language that
is concurrent,class-
based,object-oriented and
specifically designed to have
as few implementation
dependencies as possible.

10. January 1,1996 Macromedia Flash 1.0
 Macromedia flash 1.0 was introduced. It is
program that creates interactive and animated
media such as motion
graphics,videos,presentations and websites.

11. October 5,1997 Nintendo 64
 The first Nintendo Game system appears on
shelves. It is one of the first modern consoles
to implement a unified memory subsystem,
instead of having separate banks of memory
for cpu,audio, and video for example.

12. November 1,1998 Computer Animation
 Computer Animation is introduced. A process
used for generating animated ideas. The more
general term computer-generated imagery
encompasses both static scenes and dynamic
images, while computer animation only refers
to the moving images.

13. February 26,1999 AOL and Microsoft:Goliath vs. Goliath
 Having won the battle for the
desktop and the browser,
Microsoft lost no time in
moving against its next big
target, bringing America
Online into its sites
throughout much of 1999.

14. February 26,2000 Hybrid Car
Toyota releases first
Hybrid car, the first of
its kind. It is one that
uses more than one
means of propulsion –
that means combining
a petrol or diesel
engine with an electric
motor.
