Previously working as a Project Leader at Kendal Power Station on various Outages including opportunity

stages.Refurbished over 480 different valves on the Turbine and Boiler Sections.With a staff complimentof81

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The OSH act requires thatboilers,pressure vessels and pressure systems be inspected byan Authorised
Inspection Authority (AIA) appointed by the DepartmentofLabour and / or appoints a competentperson certified
by the DepartmentofLabour who has written and passed the required exams with relevantexperience.
• Responsible person in terms ofthe OSH act, & representthe owner or user of equipment.
• Responsible ofsigning the statutorylogbooks and recognise existing or predictable hazards in the equipment.
• To ensure compliance ofthe statutory requirements as defined in the OSH act of the company,its employees
and the contractors required working on the applicable areas.
