100 years of manufacturing experience and facilities in more than 12 countries worldwide, served by
over 1300 qualified Engineers. The Sharjah Office, provides the Steam solution, Engineering services
such as Trap Survey, Energy Audit and Trouble-Shooting Steam related process Problems at Customer
Sites.
As a Stores officer I am responsible for
• Import functions / Supplier Co-ordination:
Validate the expecting orders on a daily / weekly / monthly basis on the line up of Import
shipments.
Closely interact with Freight services department (Customs clearance dept.) for prioritizing the
inbound shipments in line with the export priority as specified by customer.
Upon receipt of shipment, supervise the warehouse for tallying the receipts as per Supplier packing
list / Invoice, put away, GRN & Material certificate and confirm receipt to Supplier through
confirmed GRN.
Reporting Damages / Shortages / Mixed receipts / Packaging, Certificate discrepancies (if any)
along with the GRN with pictures to substantiate the issues and sorting out the discrepancies
within the minimum time bound with the close follow-up with the suppliers.
• Export functions / Customer Co-ordination:
Customer places order on us, providing list of items required for their projects / MRO with
quantities.
Based on availability of stocks (JD Edwards’s system) and arrival of products in each week, I
allocate available stocks and plan further allocation based on daily arrivals and prepare the
planning sheet. (Based on the customer’s approval for partial shipment).
Provide pick list to warehouse to proceed with picking & packing.
Packing is done as per receiving requirements physically verify the weight and volume of the
packages
Once allocated & packed for a customer, I generate the Commercial Invoices and prepare the
documentation. Invoice / Packing List / Material Certificate / COO are forwarded to freight dept.
for Export Custom clearance.
Execute shipment loading and update system & close out bound job with Delivery Note.
Update the customer with the soft / hard copy of documents as per existing contract.
• Customs / Forwarder / Office Co-ordination:
Co-ordinate with the Customs for the Import / Export document processes and submitting the
documents required by them
Monitoring our own forwarder for the Import / Export documents processes.
Co-ordinate with Customer’s forwarders for shipments dispatch.
Maintaining the records and filing on daily basis.
