Plan, organize and direct the implementation of the TANF (temporary assistance for needy
families) program at the client level; approve and audit new and recertified client files and
supportive services for accuracy and compliance with tribal, state, and federal laws,
regulations, codes, policies and procedures.
Identify individuals in need of TANF assistance; distribute and implement resources,
personnel, and programs to resolve issues and situations.
Oversee and create programming for in-house education and career guidance
departments. Further, communicate with educational facilities, outside organizations and
companies to negotiate payments, grants and scholarships, and develop opportunities for
vocational study, higher education, and other means to address client long term self
reliance and financial independence goals.
Evaluate client participation in order to screen for needed psychosocial assessments
to identify possible education, career, or life-functioning barriers.
Create tailored quarterly behavioral modification plans to aid in client success and
meeting program requirements.
Direct the preparation and maintenance of a variety of narrative and statistical reports,
records and files related to personnel and assigned activities.
Communicate with other administrators, personnel and outside organizations to
coordinate activities and programs, resolve issues and conflicts and exchange
information.
Conduct case management meetings with multidisciplinary team including; Substance
Abuse Counselors, Psychiatrists, Therapists, Child Welfare Advocates, Caseworkers and
Eligibility Specialists to monitor clients current level of functioning.

conduct drug tests, background checks, employment checks and other investigative inquiries to assure com-

Oversee the distribution of documentation necessary to fulfill the application process; schedule interviews
