7. BAHAY KUBO
Bahay kubo, kahit munti
Ang halaman doon ay sari-sari.
Singkamas at talong, sigarilyas at
mani
Sitaw, bataw, patani.
Kundol, patola, upo’t kalabasa
At saka mayroon pang labanos,
mustasa,
sibuyas, kamatis, bawang at luya
sa paligid-ligid ay puro linga.
8. May pumukol sa Pipit sa sanga ng isang kahoy
At nahagip ng bato ang pakpak ng munting
ibon
Dahil sa sakit, di nakaya pang lumipad
At ang nangyari ay nahulog ngunit parang
taong bumigkas
Mamang kay lupit, ang puso mo`y di na
nahabag
Pag pumanaw ang buhay ko, may isang pipit na
iiyak
May isang pipit na iiyak, may isang pipit na
iiyak
10. Magtanim ay di biro
Maghapong nakayuko
Di man lang makaupo
Di man lang makatayo
Braso ko’y namamanhid
Binti ko’y namimitig
Sa pagkababad sa tubig.
Sa umaga, paggising
Ang lahat, iisipin
Kung saan may patanim
May masarap na pagkain.
Halina, halina, mga kaliyag,
Tayo’y magsipag-unat-unat.
Magpanibago tayo ng lakas
Para sa araw ng bukas
(Bisig ko’y namamanhid
Baywang ko’y nangangawit. Baywang ko’y nangangawit.
Binti ko’y namimintig
Sa pagkababad sa tubig.)
Kay-pagkasawing-palad
Ng inianak sa hirap,
Ang bisig kung di iunat,
Di kumita ng pilak
11. ORIGINAL LYRICS

pakitong-kitong
Alimango sa dagat
malaki at masarap!
Kay hirap hulihin
sapagkat nangangagat.
Tong, tong, tong, tong
pakitong-kitong.

12. Sitsiritsit, alibangbang
Salaginto at salagubang
Ang babae sa lansangan
Kung gumiri’y parang tandang
Santo Niño sa Pandakan
Putoseko sa tindahan
Kung ayaw mong magpautang
Uubusin ka ng langgam
Mama, mama, namamangka
Pasakayin yaring bata.
Pagdating sa Maynila
Ipagpalit ng manika.
Ale, ale, namamayong
Pasukubin yaring sanggol.
Pagdating sa Malabon
Ipagpalit ng bagoong.
13. Paruparong bukid na lilipad-lipad
Sa gitna ng daan papaga-pagaspas
Isang bara ang tapis
Isang dangkal ang manggas
Ang sayang de kola
Isang piyesa ang sayad
May payneta pa siya — uy!
May suklay pa man din — uy!
Nagwas de-ohetes ang palalabasin
Haharap sa altar at mananalamin
At saka lalakad nang pakendeng-kendeng.
14. May tatlong bibe akong nakita
Mataba mapayat mga bibe
Ngunit ang may pakpak
Sa likod na iisa
Siya ang lider na nagsabi ng
Kwak, kwak
Kwak, kwak, kwak (2x)
Siya ang lider na nagsabi ng
Kwak, kwak
Tayo na sa ilog ang sabi
Kumending ng kumending
Ang mga bibe
Ngunit ang may pakpak
Sa likod na iisa
Siya ang lider na nagsabi ng
Kwak, kwak
Kwak, kwak, kwak (2x)
Siya ang lider na nagsabi ng
Kwak, kwak
