Gordian Strapping's StraPack RQ-8 automatic arch strapping machine offers narrow strapping options at a high speed and reliable pace. The RQ-8 banding machine is part of Gordian Strapping's robust packaging range allowing the strong and robust frame of the RQ-8 to withstand the ruff and tumble of a warehouse environment. A key feature of the RQ-8 bander is its speed, which can apply up to 40 straps per minute (1.5 straps per second) and the strapping machines full lubricated mechanisms (which are self lubricating) increase the operational life of the RQ-8 making the banding machine economic also. As well as this there is very little moving parts in the RQ-8 which will reduce maintenance and increase the machines motor life. Other benefits of the RQ-8 automatic banding machine include; Simple and quick strap loading due to the coil being located outside the frame of the RQ-8. The RQ-8 strapping machine is easy to operate with user friendly controls. The RQ-8 automatic machine has the option to use various strap sizes. Self correcting technology is applied in the StraPack RQ-8 in the event of a short feed, which is unlikely. The RQ-8 is ready to operate in under 25 seconds and the energy saving mode puts the machine into stand-by after 3 minutes of non-use.
