6. In a Situation of Workplace Violence (Armed & Non-Armed)

Run - Run when there is an active threat. Once safe, call 8070 to inform Operator / 999 Police Department
Hide - If escape is not possible, hide yourself

• Silence your phone
Fight - Only as last resort and if your life is in danger
8. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Give full cooperation ad commitment to the
hostel management and warden appointed to
manage the hostel.
3. All student must appoint the hostel leader for
every unit will be responsible to look any
disagreement regarding hostel and bring to hostel
management for discussion and problem solving.
2. Keep maintain safety and conduciveness of the
hostel.
4. Student required to adopt the sets to keeping the house
clean, neat and tidy.
Arrange all books
Sweep and mop the floor as schedule
Scrub and wash the bathroom and toilet bowl as schedule
Make bed every morning
5. Throw all rubbish and all unwanted
items every day at the designated area.
6. Arrange all footwear very nicely in the shoe rack/
cupboard.
7. Do not flush sanitary pads down the toilet bowl.
9. SAFETY
1. Belongings
• Not bring expensive items. (jewellery / excessive cash)
• Personal belonging include own vehicle is the sole responsibility of students.
2. Student
• Hostel leader / students must make sure to lock the gate and main entrance door at their individual hostel at 10pm.
• Most serious injuries occur as result of people tripping, slipping falling. Student must be cautioned of the following:
Avoid spoilling water. If spillage does occur, clean ii up.
Keep floor clean and tidy.
Avoid draping cables and hoses acrosswalk ways.
3. Potential fire hazard
• Keep all electrical equipment safe and in good working order.
• Switch off electrical if not use before sleep and before leavig the hostel.
• Usage of mosquito coils must be used with great precaution.

• Washing and drying of clothes must be done in specified places.
• Turn off the electrical supply and closed the tap water when not in use.
5. Cooking
• Allowed to cook in the hostel. Must off the electric after finish cooking,
clean the stove and area surrounding.
• Keep all the utensils clean at all times. Do not keep it in sink without clean.
• Do not keep food in the fridge too long until rotten.
13. END OF POSTING
On last day student must make sure the hostel:
• Throw all the rubbish.
• Sweep and mop the floor of the respective hostel unit.
• Do not leave anything behind.
• Throw away all the unwanted shoes, clothes, notes and books.
• Sent back the hostel’s key to the Accident & Emergency counter.
