ABOUT ME
I am a reliable and hardworking professional, who has
demonstrated leadership strengths and proven ability to
manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
with critical deadlines. I am passionate about helping others,
empowering people & assisting others to achieve their goals,
community development, training, social inclusion, advocacy
and the principle of “lifelong learning.”

experienced business developer and training professional
who has contributed to the success of Advanced Career
Training in the Ballarat, Bendigo regions. During the last
calendar I have contributed to the marketing, coordination
and enrolment of over 302 students. With 57 enrolments
being for Certificate IV in Disability, 54 enrolments in
Certificate III in Aged Care, 21 enrolments for Certificate IV
in Mental Health, and 36 enrolments for foundation
(Certificate I in Work Education or Certificate I in
Transition) in Ballarat alone.
I have initiated and introduced Advanced Career Training
to a number of important industry relationships such as
Nazareth Care, Australian Unity Home Care Plus, BRI
(Ballarat Regional Industries), SAILS and the City of Ballarat
to name a few.
I am a people person with the natural ability to make
people feel ‘at ease’ in a stressful situation. I have excellent
communication and problem solving skills and a proven
ability to manage and complete projects to the highest
standard without losing sight of the benefits to the
community and people involved. I work well independently

Responsible for the daily operations of the Ballarat RTO site, includes scheduling of rooms, trainers, and courses for the
region. I also train in Certificate IV Disability and Certificate I in Work Education & Certificate I in Transition Education.
Business Development
Responsible for developing and networking in the Ballarat region to ensure that ACT Ballarat is reaching maximum
student enrolments. This includes weekly marketing activities such as emails, phone calls & other marketing tools. I am
also responsible for the marketing activity on ACT’s social media platforms.
Resource Developer:
I continue to develop and write learning materials for Certificate I in Transition Education for the Garden Cluster. This
program is specially designed to meet the needs social & recreational needs of employees from a local Australian
Disability Enterprise.

Resource Developer
Designed, developed and facilitated various accredited programs for the ACT in the Ballarat Area. These programs
include Certificate I in Transition Education, Certificate I in Work Education/CGEA. I have been involved in the
development of the Pre-Training resources for the foundation courses. This includes the development and design of LLN
Assessment used to determine the Australian Core Skills Framework levels of student’s prior to commencing training.

Finding Futures
As the Training Coordinator for Finding Futures Employment Services, I was responsible for the delivery, administration
and compliance of both Learn Local (ACFE) programs and the RTO services.
I designed, developed, facilitated and monitored the delivery of all training programs with the aim of maximizing
employment opportunities for jobseekers with a disability, injury or condition. This included a blend of Pre-accredited

Assisted Jobseekers facing significant barriers including long term unemployment, disabilities, injuries or medical issues. I
specialized in the areas of criminal histories, homelessness, and mental health. My main role was advocacy for
employment and social inclusion for people suffering significant barriers; this included educating Ballarat Employers on
the benefits of social inclusion. I was responsible for reverse marketing and building industry relationships within Ballarat,
Ararat, Kyneton, Wendouree and surrounding areas.

My key responsibilities were to provide complex tax and compliance advice to customers via email, phone and in person,
processing of FHOG (First Home Owner Grants), Unclaimed Money returns, Motor vehicle refunds and Water rebate
claims, reviewing of objections and rejections and finally the preparation of monthly statistics.
I worked across three revenue lines within the Grants & Returns Team and I am often known to be working in more than
one revenue line at a time, making me a flexible employee for my team leaders. My skills and knowledge lead to an
additional project as an Educational Technical Specialist. I was then recruited to develop, design and facilitate a number
of units for other employees obtaining Certificate IV in Government.
