Move Raises Eyebrows
Trillium was set up in 1997 with £70m of funds by
property entrepreneurs Manish Chande and
Martin Myers with the backing of Goldman
Sachs.Richard Georgi, global managing partner at
Soros Real Estate, which owns 42.5pc of
Mapeley, helped set up Trillium when he worked
at Goldman Sachs but was poached by George
Soros in early 1999.
