Presentation on Wellness for the Career Readiness program. The focus of this presentation was that health is the result of a set of behaviors and choices. It was an interactive and lively workshop. As a result, I returned to share tools and strategies for improving self esteem.

5. Health World Health Organization (WHO) definition of Health: Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.
6. Wellness –noun 1. the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, esp. as the result of deliberate effort. 2. an approach to healthcare that emphasizes preventing illness and prolonging life, as opposed to emphasizing treating diseases.
