38. FOREST DENSITY INCREASED :
Forest Density increased from 0.0 – 0.2 to 0.4-0.5 in Treated areas.
SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION :
Areas treated under UNDP-GEF Project have shown remarkable
increase in Soil and Water Conservation.
Dried Water holes have revived and Water Channels are flowing with
Water for longer duration.
Soil Erosion decreased magnificently.
POSITIVE EFFECTS ON BIODYVERSITY :
Number of Species have Increased Considerably in Project area,
Gradual Increase in Herbs, Shrubs, with Tree Species have attracted
the Wild Animals. Increase in Flora and Fauna observed and Noticed
by many.
RET Species of Flora & Fauna are giving their presence in Project area
like – Vultures and many Floral and Medicinal Species.
39. Aajivika Activities in Project area help Poor Families to increase their
Monthly/Annual Income.
Economic Capabilities are increased gradually. Beneficiaries are
conducting multifarious activities like Construction of Rooms Purchase
of Milking Domestic Animals i.e. Buffalo, Cow, She Goat etc. Or
Daughter’s Marriage.
Supply of Vegetable Seeds has increased the Vegetable Production to
full fill their Domestic Needs.
Distribution of Medicinal Plants can helping the Local Vaidhya in
treatment of various local Diseases.
Biodynamic farming increasing Crop Production which intern along
with Fish Production increase the Vigour and Health of the People.
40. Women are Imparting in UNDP activities with the Beneficiaries and
working as a Unit.
FPC and VFC Members are paying more attention towards Forest
Protection and Tendency towards Stall Feeding of Cattles has
increased considerably.
Villagers of UNDP-GEF Project area are now more capable for
earning the sufficient amount because of Capacity Building
Programs.
Increasing the tendency for use of Biodynamic Farming.
Migration of Villagers has Reduced considerably.
Villager’s Dependency on Forest for Fuel has gone down.
Linking Bond between Villagers and Forest Officials becoming
Stronger Day by day for the Purpose of Biodiversity Conservation.
