Step 01 : Keyword Research
• Go to Google keyword planner
• write your specific keyword in search for new
keywords usng a phrase,website or category
• Click keyword ideas
• Find your keywords using 3 procedure
– Monthly Search >300 (buying keywords)
– Competition should have Low
– Suggested bid should have at least $.50
Step 02 : Identify Your Top
Competitors
• Once you have selected your
keyword then go to
https://www.semrush.com/ website
and write down your keyword and
see the top 10 competitors if you
already purchase.
Step 03 : Analyze Your Competitors
• After passing step 02 then go to
http://www.linkresearchtools.com/
• You will find there : each competitor, including
Link Velocity, Domain Authority, Inbound
Links, Social Shares, Domain Age, and much
more
• Download Their Backlink Profile:
• Analyze Their Topical Authority
• Establish Industry Averages:
Step 04 : Social Media and Content
Audit
• you’ll need to research their content
marketing and social media strategy
• Evaluate their blog, Facebook, Twitter,
LinkedIn and Pinterest accounts. This will help
you determine how active you need to be in
terms of creating and sharing content, and
again, to determine your first targets in terms
of follower acquisition and engagement ratio.
Step 05 : Determine Your Barrier to
Entry and Strategy
• When you have completed 04 steps then you
should have planned how to publish your
content, backlinks, traffic engaging etc.
