1. I am CELTA certified and have an eight-year Language and Soft Skills
Teaching and Training experience, three of which are in Senior Training.
I am currently an Amideast teacher and an IBM certified Voice, Accent and
Soft Skills Master Trainer. My job profile Includes: teaching English to
children and adults, conducting TTT training courses focusing on Language
and Soft Skills, auditing and coaching trainers, creating training plans,
developing action plans for improving performance of trainers, content
development, CV screening, interviewing candidates, and assessment of
trainers. Some of the courses I train on are: Accent, Grammar, Language
Practice, Facilitation Skills, Customer Service, Communication Skills,
Presentation Skills, Team Work, Time Management, Emotional Intelligence,
Interview Skills, and CV and Cover Letter Writing.
I taught and trained at places such as Berlitz, TEFL International, New
Horizons, ITI, and some NGOs. Moreover, I was selected by my
management team to deliver a Language and Culture training in a TTT in
Uganda as an extension to the current project I work for. Through the project
I am appointed for, I delivered training courses and presentations at places
such as the Bibliotheca, different Egyptian Universities, Rotary Act Club,
among others. I was also the guest of TV shows to speak on self-help.
Through the CELTA course I attended input sessions on teaching
methodology, completed four written assignments, and observed
experienced EFL teachers. In addition, I was involved in collaborative
planning, peer observation and shared evaluation and feedback. I also
completed 6 hours of individual teaching at two distinct levels that were
observed and assessed by an approved Cambridge ESOL teacher trainer.
I am passionate about working with children, teaching and interacting with
learners and enthusiastic about further developing my skills and growing as
a teacher. I am dynamic, energetic, enjoy interactive teaching styles, and
empowering and motivating my learners. I have excellent presentation,
facilitation, and coaching skills. Moreover, I have fluent English and a BA
in English Language and Literature. Over the course of six years, I have
successfully completed the CELTA course, a TTMT (Train the Master
Trainer) course and two TTT (Train The Trainer) courses with IBM and
First Source.
