2. WES K-Centers
Kindergarten students work independently to reinforce
understanding and application of emerging curricular skills in the
WES Kindergarten Centers.
3. RHS EdVenturist Program
The EdVenturist program helps participating students develop their
product and/or business ideas, prove concept and ultimately
participate in the World Series of Entrepreneurship.
4. RTSD Summer Reading Incentives
Students identified by faculty are invited to participate in the RTSD
Summer Reading Camp and earn Book Bucks to purchase their own
books to enjoy at home.
5. RMS Gateways Whitebox Learning
Whitebox Learning software brings the engineering design process
into the hands of our 8th grade Gateways students, moving beyond
theoretical applications of the process and allowing students hands-
on design experience.
6. RES International Week
Radnor Elementary School’s PTO brought Italy to our students with a
week long celebration.

7. RHS Courtyard Renovation
This student-advised grant involved renovating the courtyard at RHS
to be a more useful, multi-purpose area. The renovation was
designed by RHS civil engineering students with additional work
being done by student council members.
8. RMS Girls Lead Program
Twenty Radnor Middle School 7th-grade students were selected by
their counselors or team teachers to participate in a leadership
program for adolescent girls. Through 12 school-based meetings, the
annual Girls Lead Conference, and a leadership project, the Girls
Lead participants improved their communication, decision making,
conflict resolution, problem solving and advocacy skills.
9. Elementary STEM Night
More than 550 RTSD elementary students, joined by their parents,
put on their lab coats to experiment like scientists, think like
engineers, problem-solve like mathematicians and create like techies
at the district's sold out, fourth annual Elementary STEM Night.
10. RHS Theater Technology and Lighting Update
This grant is designed to help students push the boundaries of what
can be achieved in the RHS auditorium and beyond with the
purchase of new lighting equipment that will allow hands-on
experience.
11. RMS Mini-THON
RMS hosted a Mini-THON to raise funds for pediatric cancer
research. The evening included food, fun and a DJ to keep the kids
moving! The event raised over $35,000!
12. RHS Radnor Robotics
Two teams of Radnor High School students qualified for the VEX
Robotics Eastern Pennsylvania State Championships following strong
performances in regional competitions.
13. RTSD MLK Day
Thank you to the MLK Day of Service organizers for designating REF
as the recipient of their fundraiser during this year’s MLK Day of
Service. The raffle and bake sale raised over $900 for our Neighbors
Helping Neighbors fund!
14. Friends of REF Breakfast
In October 2017 we thanked our supporters at the Friends of REF
breakfast, where we recognized our 2017 honorees.

15. Family Movie Night
Families enjoyed watching “The Incredibles” under the stars outside
of Radnor Middle School at our first ever Family Movie Night!
16. Denim & Diamonds
Over 200 guests turned out to celebrate REF’s 23rd year of
partnership with Radnor Township School District. We are pleased
that this year’s benefit revenue surpassed our successful event last
year, and proceeds will go toward funding possibilities in Radnor
schools.
17. Rock Out With REF
Thank you for joining us at this year’s Rock Out With REF at 118
North to catch up with friends, hear a great band and to continue to
support our mission!
