learnings have brought a multi-faceted sensibility to our designs growing us further to be able to create holistic environments which emphasise on
interconnectedness of all that exists, uplifting to a state of exaltation where we may experience beauty and harmony.

EMPATHY
Empathy towards the Clients’ Goals and the Project Brief is the
major KEY. Design evolves best in Collaboration.
THE PRINCIPLES OF TRIAD
From Conception to Execution till the end result of an
experiential environment, it is the Concept of Triads that govern
the Process.
3 - Way Relationship in DESIGN
SITE - CLIENT/BRIEF - ARCHITECT - It is the relationship and
chemistry between these 3 poles that brings about the quality of
Design. In any of the projects, one can sense that one of them
became the primary source of inspiration.
3 - Way Relationship in CONSTRUCTION
EXECUTION TEAM - CLIENT - ARCHITECT - The mutual
understanding, respect and trust between the 3 players in
construction can result in smooth processes and the intended
brief can be created well in real terms

15. Inspired by the spirit of the free, unrestricted & non-regimented work culture, the client drew inspiration from a global visual
language of a warehouse aesthetic making itself visible in the several software and app development offices around the
world.
With a white palette base, large writable surfaces, a fluid planning by highlights in textures and colors, the design evolved to
become a playful workspace. As one walks from the building atrium into this workspace, one feels a traction, an almost
uncomfortable turn in the floor lines, but then held as if by a “hand”, returning to comfort with the softness of the grass –
relaxing, sitting on a hanging chair or the bean bags next to it.
The surfaces above are themselves a social space with the illustrations of “Avengers” amidst the raw and bare concrete of
the ceiling, the red colours of the fire-fighting pipes and the reflective aluminum of the air-conditioning ducts.

Warmth of the wood floor accompanied by the large grass patch holds the space together – each workgroup – 5 of them with a
mid-table holding eight people each gets identified by a c0lour code on the table and the triplets of hanging lights.

Built massing on the narrow Site
The design of the banquet+hotel,
arises with the forces of the narrow
proportions of the site. As the
building plan found itself to be in
the narrowest portion of the site,
an otherwise rectilinear form
became a sharp wedge in 3
dimensions.
The conceptual intent of the
Interiors of the rooms arose from
the architectural character and
spatial influence they portray.

“Ethereal Sophistication”

Location: Khentawas, Gurugram; Knowledge Park, Gr. Noida
Area: 1,000 Sq. Ft.
Status: Under Construction
Dedicated to imparting knowledge and sensibilities of
Apple Technologies, the design of the lab takes key
influences from the design ethos of Apple.
Taking its core references from use of Aluminum,
graceful white and smooth corners, the design detailed
from the ceiling to the minutest detail of the table and
chair gives rise to a symphonic design.
38. LIBRARY @ DRONACHARYA
“Centri-Fugue : 2nd Movement”
Client: Dronacharya Group of Institutions / Spark International
Location: Khentawas, Gurugram
Area: 9,000 Sq. Ft.
Status: Completed
Like the design for its predecessor in another campus, the theme for this library emerged as force lines radiating
out of a centre in the existing the space. The pillared hall here as the bare shell, combined with its oblong and
linear volume attempted to enforce a sense of unidirectional linearity. The design process, however, reacted to it
differently.
Search for new geometric and orientational identity led to first devising new primary axes from the existing
structured space, from a centre present in a group of columns. the circulation pattern and placement of two primary
group of elements became the key to the design – 1) Return-lending desk, entrance path and a primary book
stack; and 2) reading stations highlighted by 6 ft. dia ceiling lights as Multi-focal points. The result was an
experience of discoveries, grandeur and guided orientation. A multi-layered repeating movements but each time
with renewed experience like a fugue starting from an inward physical centre.
40. LIBRARY @ DRONACHARYA
“Graceful Elegance”
Client: Dronacharya Group of Institutions / Spark International
Location: Khentawas, Gurugram; Knowledge Park, Gr. Noida

As a conference and entrepreneur room, the facility was to be equipped with the latest in audio-visual conferencing
both in software and hardware and serve as an exemplary component of the Dronacharya College of Engineering.
The expression and focus on the 24 seater conference table emerged as the focal point for the design as well.
Keeping the table as a unified element finished in ‘solid surface’ with continuous working light band, with hovering
punctuations by lights above which were custom-made for the project.
42. ENTERPRENEUR ROOM @ DRONACHARYA, GREATER NOIDA

As a second adaptation
of the space of similar
nature In Gurgaon

to its larger area and
square Plot provided the
opportunity to make the
same design concept
much grander in its
presence and
proportion.
This Room still remains
as one of the focal areas
of the college
44. CUB-HOUSE
“Inter-Play of Unfolding”
Client: Meerut Public School for Girls
Location: Meerut Cantt
Area: 13,100 Sq. Ft.
Status: Under Construction
Children as they begin to learn and grow in a school environment are
transitioning from a home environment of care and love of the mother to an
outer environment. It is not only what they learn, but also ‘How’ they learn is
equally important. The designed environment should help in inculcating a
desire to learn, to explore and find he means of learning - both playful and
contemplative.
The sensibilities towards intuition and invention, fresh ideas and creativity will
be received by those who are groomed to create strong connect with the basic
core of concepts, who can inter-relate and think seemlessly across
boundaries, cut across zones and enjoy richness in diversity.
The campus offers such possibilities and the design created neglected
backyard spaces to become playfully enriched spaces, boundaries received
perforations and each part has places to stop, sit, play and learn inside and
outside the classrooms.
Class/Play rooms over looking the backyard play area
Corridor with bench as periphery
Tree ‘machan’ & splash pool

50. LIBRARY @ DRONACHARYA
“Centri-Fugue : 2nd Movement”
Client: Shanti Public School
Location: Guna, Madhya Pradesh
Area: 87,000 Sq. Ft. (built) - Site: 5.5 Acres
Status: Concept Design, Approved.
The design proposal for the Nursery
to 12th Grade school, was derived as
a response to the programme and
the site proportions. The 150 Ft. wide
site enforced a linear design which
challenged us to break it done by
cutting and adding to the linearity
both in plans and in heights.
The programme itself was given an
expression by formulating differing
forms to the activities they hold. The
Nursery and KG became the elliptical
first set going 1 storey under the
ground along with its open-to-sky
play area. The admin block next
headed the trail, followed by the
academic, which got accentuated by
3 primary functions – the
cantilevering Library Block on the first
floor and the Auditorium block on the
upper most floor mediated by the
amphitheater cutting into the linear
block.

“Mirror as the Window”
Client: Speculo
Location: Delhi
Area: 1500 Sq. Ft.
Status: Completed
“Mirror” – English for the Latin word
‘Speculo’ – Reflections amidst the bricks
– this subtlety of experience against a
hardened background thematically
directed the design of this space for a
unisex salon in Paschim Vihar.
Each corner, each turn of the eye,
bringing to the intimate detail – be it the
lines holding the flower pots at the
entrance, or the diagonally turned floor
tiles, turning then, into the depths of the
grooves that hold the bricks on the wall.
All this multiplied by the many
reflections, creating the environment to
sit in and be enhanced.
