ABSTRACT
Industrial training is an important phase of a student life. A well planned, properly executed
and evaluated industrial training helps a lot in developing a professional attitude. It develop
an awareness of industrial approach to problem solving, based on a broad understanding of
process and mode of operation of organization. The aim and motivation of this industrial
training is to receive discipline, skills, teamwork and technical knowledge through a proper
training environment, which will help me, as a student in the field of Information Technology,
to develop a responsiveness of the self-disciplinary nature of problems in information and
communication technology. Throughout this industrial training, I have been learned new
techniques of packaging, quality control etc related to capsules.

SUBJECT:
Report on industrial visit of 2022 took place in Chennai on 23th
July 2022.
RESPECTED SIR/MADAM,
On receiving the letter of permission from “THE MADRAS PHARMA”
80 students along with the faculty members went on the industrial visit to the
factory on 23/07/2022. We assembled at the college at 06:00am and left the
college in the tourist bus. We reached the factory at 10:00am. It was 2-3hrs
journey and students are advised to wear formal dress along with the shoes of
any kind.
A production-in-charge gave us brief introduction about the factory. Inside the
industries students only carried notepads and pen to take notes whatever you
see inside the industries. The company would not allow any bags, mobile
phones or other electronics inside the industries and strict checking was been
done once you enter the company premises. They gave us mask to be worn.
The workers was seen doing the work concentrated. Everybody was seen
wearing the surgical masks.
Inside the industry the students were given a tour of various departments viz.
Production unit, Quality control unit. Etc. While entering into the production
unit, the students were advised to wear aprons, disposable head masks and
shoe caps so that the contamination would stay minimal. Before entering to
these unit high speed air is passed so that the dust from the clothes get
removed.
After the visit in various departments there would have been a discussion
session where all the queries of the students were answered by the higher
personals of the industry. It was truly an exciting and enlightening visit for all
the students.
We left the premises at 03:00pm. It was informative, interesting and successful

express our thanks to the DEAN sir who permitted us to go on the visit, the

CONLUSION
The primary goal of this report is to visiting this company gives a practical
exposure to current work practices to strengthen theoretical knowledge being
taught at college.
During this visit we had visited Formulation and Production section, Quality
Control and Packaging section where all the faculty are valued equality and
treated with respect.
THE MADRAS PHARMA helped us to imbibe the detailed information about
tablet section & packaging section.
This industrial training provided a valuable learning experience in the carrier
exploration
process and gave us unexpected benefit. Now I have evaluated the class room
taught facts and ideas and applied them to the real-life situation. We came to
know about many things such as the GMP (Good Manufacturing Process), the
Current Good Manufacturing Process (CGMP). The basic laboratory
requirement for product validation, the variety of machine used in the large-
scale industries of medicine etc.
These and many other factors cause the enhance of my knowledge and have
created a lifelong interest to learning through an exposure to new educational
experience.
Moreover, the various large-scale pharma manufacturing equipment and
its applications were also keenly observed by us. Thus it turned out to be a
great experience, full of new and advanced learning regarding industry.

  • 15. CONLUSION The primary goal of this report is to visiting this company gives a practical exposure to current work practices to strengthen theoretical knowledge being taught at college. During this visit we had visited Formulation and Production section, Quality Control and Packaging section where all the faculty are valued equality and treated with respect. THE MADRAS PHARMA helped us to imbibe the detailed information about tablet section & packaging section. This industrial training provided a valuable learning experience in the carrier exploration process and gave us unexpected benefit. Now I have evaluated the class room taught facts and ideas and applied them to the real-life situation. We came to know about many things such as the GMP (Good Manufacturing Process), the Current Good Manufacturing Process (CGMP). The basic laboratory requirement for product validation, the variety of machine used in the large- scale industries of medicine etc. These and many other factors cause the enhance of my knowledge and have created a lifelong interest to learning through an exposure to new educational experience. Moreover, the various large-scale pharma manufacturing equipment and its applications were also keenly observed by us. Thus it turned out to be a great experience, full of new and advanced learning regarding industry.
