To whom this may concern:
As a recent college graduate of Eastern University, I am continuously looking for opportunities
to teach as a professional educator. With my experience from student teaching and related jobs, I
have developed a passion and personal commitment to helping students succeed. I feel that my
background as an educator is a perfect match for a teaching position at your school.
In my most teaching position at Souderton Charter School Collaborative, I created highly
effective lesson plans, motivational exercises, and performance assessments. I’ve helped
improve test scores, and have received positive feedback from parents and fellow educators alike
for my abilities in the classroom. My teaching style demonstrates dedication to fostering a
positive learning environment to all students and maximizing individual student performance.
The accomplishment I’m most proud of in my teaching career is finding innovative activities to
informally assess students in the classroom. The most important key to teaching is being aware
of all your students and knowing if all students are following the instructions. Connecting the
trains in a meaningful way at the start and end of the lesson is crucial for having a successful
lesson plan.
I am confident that my background and relevant experience will be a valuable asset to your
school. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this position further. Thank you for your
time and attention.
Sincerely,
Rachel Sonnabend
